I started putting this album together earlier this year (before the pandemic hit the UK) when I realised I had a bunch of tracks that I had made at various points. Most of them didn't have words, and when I was writing most of the words I was quite depressed so accidentally made an album that approaches depression at different times... The concept was loose for this album, apart from trying to work out what progressive apathy might sounds like, and vaguely trying to cover a weekend in the life of Petra Dish.
